*The fund Benchmark Index is the MSCI World Index NR. The MSCI World Index is a broad global equity index that represents large- and mid-cap equity performance across 23 developed markets countries. It covers approximately 85% of the free float-adjusted market capitalization in each country and does not offer exposure to emerging markets. GINNX performance prior to its 12/31/2015 launch uses Investor Class (IWIRX) data. Index figures are shown on a net return (NR) basis, meaning dividends are reinvested after the deduction of withholding taxes applicable to non-resident institutional investors. An investor cannot invest directly in an index.

Performance data quoted represents past performance and does not guarantee future results. Investment returns and principal value of an investment will fluctuate so that an investor's shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Current performance may be lower or higher than the performance quoted. Performance data for the most recent month-end is available above.

Morningstar rating
★★★★★
5-star Overall Morningstar Rating™
Among 286 Global Large-Stock Growth funds · as of 9/30/2026
3-Yr ★★★★ (286 funds)   5-Yr ★★★★ (274 funds)   10-Yr ★★★★★ (201 funds)
Based on risk-adjusted returns.

The Morningstar Rating™ for funds, or “star rating,” is calculated for managed products (including mutual funds, variable annuity and variable life subaccounts, exchange-traded funds, closed-end funds, and separate accounts) with at least a three-year history. Exchange-traded funds and open-ended mutual funds are considered a single population for comparative purposes. It is calculated based on a Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return measure that accounts for variation in a managed product’s monthly excess performance, placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The top 10% of products in each product category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars, and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. The Overall Morningstar Rating for a managed product is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with its three-, five-, and 10-year (if applicable) Morningstar Rating metrics. The weights are: 100% three-year rating for 36-59 months of total returns, 60% five-year rating/40% three-year rating for 60-119 months of total returns, and 50% 10-year rating/30% five-year rating/20% three-year rating for 120 or more months of total returns. While the 10-year overall star rating formula seems to give the most weight to the 10-year period, the most recent three-year period actually has the greatest impact because it is included in all three rating periods. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.

Important risk information. Investing involves risk, including possible loss of principal. The Fund is non-diversified and concentrated in roughly 30 holdings, so it is more exposed to individual stock volatility than a diversified fund. It invests heavily in technology and innovation-driven companies, which can be subject to rapid product cycles, obsolescence, and sharp price swings. Foreign Securities Risk: investments outside the U.S. involve greater volatility and political, economic and currency risks. For more information on risks, please see the prospectus.

The Fund is no-load; management fees and other expenses still apply. The Funds are distributed by Foreside Fund Services, LLC, which is not affiliated with Guinness Atkinson Asset Management, Inc. Carefully consider the Fund's investment objectives, risks, charges and expenses before investing; this and other information is in the prospectus, which should be read carefully before investing.
